Editing Update

After so many hours spent editing the music video is finally there and all is done. All that is left to do is render the video and make a possible few adjustments here and there. The editing all tough has taken many hours and disputes between the both of us it is finally to the point where we can both quite happily say we are satisfied and impressed with our work, and that there is nothing else we can do to make it better. In this final week what has really helped us reach the high standards is the peer assessment task where Ebony Daily presented us with constructive criticism which we took on board. We made the corrections that where need such as cutting the car out of the shot at the end of the video and other adjustments that Ebony pointed out.

Filming Update

This weekends filming went really well, we got to do some more footage that looks very good, we need to now edit it and integrate it into the rest of our edited footage. We also did some voice recording that also went well that will be put into the beginning of the music video.

Filming Update

This weekend (12/10/2014) we shall be going to film and do some audio recording at Gabi's house for the intro to our music video. Where Ben(me) and Tuesday are cuddling on the sofa watching a film. And the audio will be of them having and argument and braking up.

Mid Editing Class Feeback

Many good points and bad point where raised during this feedback time, which will help us develop and improve our music video.
The positive Feedback:

• A good rage of varied shots are used
• The video met the genre
• Lot's liked the opening to the video
• The concept works well
• Very strong start and finish
• Nice use of colour
• Good tracking shot works well
• Good use of colours

The negative Feedback:

• Some scenes didn't match the lyrics of the song
• Some shots were a little shaky and camera adjustments were at the wrong time
• Need to fade the song in at the beginning
• More close ups and POV's from Tuesday's view
• Shot at the river is too long
• Possibly Ben should be speaking at the beginning

From this feedback as a group we were able to identify our strengths and weakness and what we have to work on to make the video even better. Some of the more easier changes such as shortening the shots, matching scenes with the songs and putting a fade in at the beginning will be changed and rectified pretty much emidiatly. However over problems such as more POV shots and close ups will take a little longer to rectify because of having to go back out and do more filming. Either that or go back through all our footage and pick out better shots.
