Final Digipack

The final choice of digipack to be used was between mine and Gabriella's, using the vote and opinions of the class and our own we chose hers as the digipack to be used. The opinions of the class where very varied such as some liking the bright colours and the collage from my digipack, but some preferred the continuous flow of all the images being in monochrome from Gabi's digipack. Gabi's deeper understanding on how to use Photoshop came through I her creation of an artistic digipack, where as for me this was my first time using Photoshop as it can be seen in my digipack where the final touches aren't as crisp as Gabi's. And the images don't flow as well as hers because she used the monochrome devide making all the images Black and White, which we both believe works very well even though it is going against the Pop digipack conventions. The final digipack follows all the conventions in the Pop genre apart from the colour scheme.

Front Cover: The front follows all the conventions of the Pop genre with the main artist featuring in a mid shot. The artists name features at the bottom of the cover to the right in a font that resembles a girls fancy writing which is something that we both noticed was always used in Taylor Swift's albums. The name of the album also features in the top left hand corner, with the font used to make the name visible to the Audience also the colour red linking back to the name of the Album "Red".

Spine: The spine also follows the conventions of the Pop genre, with the exception of the colour. However the monochrome theme follows allowing for continuation from the front cover, it also used as a link between the front cover and the back cover. The name of the album features in the spine, using the same font only in smaller therefore  not allowing for a continuation error between the front and the spine. The artists name also features using the same font as for the front cover using the fancy girl writing.

Back Cover: The back of this digipack also follows the conventions of the pop genre with the exception of the colour scheme. However the monochrome theme of black and white follows through from the front covert to the spine and to the back cover, making all three unison. The back cover follows all the conventions such as having a bar code, copyright information, record label... The track list is written in a very light red font, with it resembling a fancy girl writing such as for the name of the artist. Making the track list seem like it has been written personally by Taylor Swift. The track list font and colour is effectively used to make a small contrast between the black white image and the light red, making the back cover interesting and captivating without it standing out too much.

Inside Cover:(Right side) The right side of the inside follows all the conventions of the Pop genre with once again the exception of the colour scheme. A personal message has been written to the audience which is a theme commonly used by Taylor Swift and many other female artists. This little touch helps make the album seem personally addressed to its audience

Inside Cover: (Left Side) The image used for this inside cover was taken when taking the pictures for the front and right inside cover. The flowers are the same as those featuring the surrounding of Tuesday. The pink is used to contrast the black and white and brake the continuous colour scheme.
