Inspiration

Taylor Swift: Ours
For the scenes on the sofa and in the garden we took inspiration from Taylor Swift - Ours, which shows a flashback in a similar nature. The footage is sweet and shows how loved up the couple are, which we thought would be a good thing to include and re-enforced the romance between the Ben and Tuesday.

Taylor Swift: Back to December
We took inspiration from Taylor Swift- Back to December, because the lyrics and the video are based around her reminiscing on her past relationship. We thought that this video represented very much what we wanted to have in our video such as when the man Taylor's ex is walking away we tried to duplicate this in our video.

Rudimental: Feel the Love
This song from Rudimental is based around horses, however we didn't take inspiration from any music videos for our horses scenes because we had a clear cut mind on what we wanted. But after we had done some of the editing we looked at a few videos such as Feel the Love. Where the editing is fast paced with lot's of cuts and different camera angles.

We wanted the overall feel of our video to be almost like its for private viewing, and that it's shown through Tuesdays eyes. The romantic feel needed to be eminent but not take over the fact that it is also showing the breakdown of their relationship. The personal feel we were aiming for was much like that of  John Legend - All of Me  where himself and his wife were filming their love for each other. As the audience watching the video, you almost feel uncomfortable watching it because of the romantic the video is.
The sadness of their situation is much like that shown in The Script - Breakeven where he sings about the mess he's in after a breakup. This is what we wanted to portray nearer the end of the song, as the first bits are when they are together.

Even though our video is individual in its own right. Bits of it hint at other songs song that have been very successful, whether they are in the Pop genre or not.
